The KVINTIČKA STREET project presents a 3D visualization of four contemporary family houses located in a quiet residential setting in Zagreb, directly next to the cable car leading to Sljeme. This unique location offers a rare combination of nature, recreation, and high-quality living—situated at the edge of the city and in immediate proximity to Medvednica Nature Park.
The houses are arranged in a linear sequence, forming a cohesive residential ensemble. The architectural concept emphasizes harmony and continuity, with each unit carefully connected through thoughtfully designed landscaping that enhances privacy, visual balance, and a strong connection to the natural surroundings. Green areas and open spaces play a key role in softening the architecture and integrating the development into its environment.
A defining feature of the project is its orientation toward Sljeme, providing unobstructed views and a strong visual relationship with the mountain landscape. The immediate proximity of the cable car allows direct access to hiking trails, outdoor activities, and recreational facilities, while the residential setting itself remains calm, discreet, and ideal for family living.
Through high-quality 3D visualizations, the project clearly communicates:
- the relationship between architecture and the natural landscape,
- the spatial organization of the residential row,
- the role of landscaping as a unifying design element,
- and the distinctive character of living in the foothills of Sljeme.
The KVINTIČKA STREET project represents a contemporary approach to family housing, combining architecture, nature, and functionality to create a refined living environment in one of Zagreb’s most desirable residential areas.
